New product

Circular INTAVISTA & LASERBLOC panel now available!

All the fantastic benefits of privacy and protection that are achieved within the INTAVISTA and LASERBLOC range, are now available in a new circular shape.

Brilliant for adding a calming, softer feel to a ward or working environment, the circular shape would present itself perfectly for a mental health environment or ward where children are more present.

The way that the bands remain the same width as the original INTAVISTA range is unique to its design, meaning that despite the smaller surface area, there is no compromise to the amount of viewing area between bands.

All existing colourways and handle choices for the original INTAVISTA range are still available, within either the Flush or Bead Fit finish of your choice.

Keeping a handle on everything!

Hygeno’s vast array of handles are perfectly suited for any working environment, from cleanroom to mental health, to operating theatres and research laboratories.

Made from solid 316 grade stainless steel or an antimicrobial copper alloy - giving permanent high performance in the harshest of environments - all of our handles are precision made by a CNC machine, resulting in beautifully robust handles every time. Depending on the type of panel and the level of protection it offers, all our handles are designed to be suitable for either single or double-sided operation.

Every INTAVISTA or LASERBLOC unit (with an internal blind) is supplied with our versatile single peg handle. These same handles can also be supplied with double-peg’s, along with anti-ligature handles for the mental health market, or low profiled handles for when space is limited - often found in sliding doors.

When working in laser controlled environments, it is often necessary to have a handle on both sides of the panel to be able to control the risk. For this instance, a lockable handle can be attached to the laser-side of the panel, preventing it from opening during surgery and putting anybodies lives at risk. Alternatively, a microswitch can be added to the inside of the panel and linked up to the rooms control board, which in turn can stop the laser from working if the blind is in its open position, or send out a warning signal in the way of lights and sounds, to warn the staff to close the blind before starting.

There is also the option to etch your company logo or description onto the face of the handles, which allows for that personal touch and attention to detail that people often look for within a specific job or when a certain type of protection is offered.

FCI use INTAVISTA's again in new £700 million development!

INTAVISTA's privacy vision panels have once again been chosen to help further the new Francis Crick Institute. This time with their animal research facilities, by providing them with the options for discreet and controlled monitoring of subjects.

INTAVISTA interstitial vison panels were specified by the Institute to enable the discreet, controlled monitoring of subjects without inducing undue distress or alarm.

For animals with nocturnal behaviour, the spectrum of visible light transmitted through the vision panels was regulated with the use of filter films. One example used was the filter RC-3 Rose Chocolate - in this case, a filter film specialised for rodents.

The IntaVista's sealed glass and stainless steel construction was also perfectly suited to the facilities Vaporised Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination regime.

INTAVISTA privacy vision panels confirmed for the Francis Crick Institute!

Hygeno are proud to announce that its innovative range of privacy vision panels have been selected for installation in one of the world's largest biomedical research facilities.

Due to open in 2015, the new Francis Crick Institute is a collaborative project between several leading research institutes to form a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and researchers, all located within one organisation.

It will employ 1,500 members of staff, including 1,250 scientists, and have an operating budget of over £100 million a year. The project required a light-tight, selectively obscurable vision panel system that was resistant to the latest decontamination regimes. The INTAVISTA Flush fit panel will be used throughout, in a combination of NFR, FD30 and FD60 fire rated versions.
